What a truck tracker adds
A truck needs more than a dot on a map. Professional trackers read data straight from the vehicle's CAN bus — fuel, mileage, engine hours and more — and from the tachograph, so driver hours and driver cards can be followed without waiting for a manual download. RS232 and RS485 interfaces allow extra equipment such as fuel level sensors to be connected.
How to choose
FMC650 and FMM650 are the newest professional models, with a high-capacity backup battery and external antennas; FMC650 uses 4G LTE Cat 1, FMM650 uses LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT. FMC640 is the 4G LTE Cat 1 truck tracker with CAN data reading, and FMB640 is the 2G model with tachograph and CAN data reading.
